Tool For Greasing Swingarm Bearings

Post by Rob »

I always have the hardest time identifying this grease gun accessory.
Every airhead owner needs one. So here is the source:

thanks for the link. FWIW, those appear to be readily available in some auto parts stores as well.

A common adapter for the chain saw arm also works. Nobody has a good excuse for not having that tool. They just need a good excuse for not using it several times a year.

I had one before I got my R65, but I don't know why I had it. I never use it on anything else.

I've never owned a chain saw.
I kept threatening to buy one, when I was employed, because the back of this property I am renting is becoming overgrown.
Now my priorities have somehow shifted.
That, and it is pretty darn cold out, these days.

I REALLY don't want to buy another gasoline engine device, but the electrics are either too weak (battery) or too inconvenient (cord). I want to be able to head down the alley with it.

I got the garage wired and the door opener working. I would like to be able to get my car back there. Especially in the winter if the snow plows need to come down our street (rare, but it did happen a year ago).

...and since I have never owned a chainsaw, I did not know about lubing them!

But I found this video that I thought some of you might enjoy! (I did)

Don't worry, she finally moves out into the light so you can see what the hell she is doing!

But besides our hostess, this looks like it might be a good tool for the job, as well.
Just don't push the bike over!
