Quick Clutch Parts Questions

Hey gents - If I order a brand new entire clutch pack, is there a certain orientation with the plates? In other words, is there marks on all of the clutch parts? If yes, do they line up together or do the marks have to be so many degrees from each other? Or does it not matter since everything is new?

If the parts are marked you want to align the marks 120 degrees apart, like one at 12 o'clock, one at 4 o'clock and the other at 8 o'clock .

I replaced all the /7 clutch parts with OEM items about 6 years ago. There were no marks on them that I could find. I just installed in whatever order/orientation that made sense.

Yeah Kurt - you are right - after looking over the parts, there were no marks. I called to confirm and they told me that it seems like BMW is no longer marking on the OEM parts.
