My old girl's 30th came and went without a whimper. I was aware but didn't make a fuss. Thought she would like it that way.
I think she would be up for celebrating with some younger cousins though. I may try and convince busy Mal to come along.
Send around some dates and venues. Don't forget Mardi Grass in May.

Unfortunately MG will be a miss for me. It was always going to be difficult for the 5 nights away, but it appears there is a significant family birthday on that will require my presence, that decides it once and for all.

Time to revive this one, or the year will get away from us.
How about November some time for a gathering and Big Birthday Bash for all those sweet young 1981 RSs?
I should be finished the year at Uni sometime thereabouts and Brun will be back on the road with nice new tyres.
Expressions of interest please, for a November weekend and suitable venue. Perhaps I'll send a message via the email list.
We'll need a cake with 30 candles, of course.

Please no. I can't afford a full change to RS spec just yet. Would mean RS fairing spider, bars and shorter cables. Can I give you a kidney for it???SteveD wrote:Have I got a fairing for you!Ross wrote:Yeah that would be right leave us RT/LT guys out of the birthday loop.![]()

G'day fellars, sounds like a great idea, I'm a bit pushed for time at the moment but
I would be available on the 12/13th Nov and looking forward with anticipation already,
as for the venue, anywhere within two days ride, water and firewood,
That race track north of Jeff's looked a good site.

Well Ross, you'll just have to take a hostage or something: "Gimme a weekend off or the tea-lady gets it!" You get the idea.
Nov 12/13 is a good one for me too. I've just sent an email to the whole crew, and hope it can fall into place.
Bob, not sure what you mean by "That race track north of Jeff's looked a good site." Could you please clarify? Hi to Ali by the way.

Sounds Great. I have it marked in the calendar.
Can the over 30's still come? Its the last year for a Contiki tour for my /7, but she can still party.
cheers
Mal

Locations?
What about Wee Jasper?
Have only ridden through there, its wonderful country and a long and winding dirt road to get there. (Slippy when wet!)
Looks like there are good campsites ($7.50 per night) and an old tavern ....
