Great stories. Good to see the "live together, ride together" approach.

The next step is to get the kids on their own bikes.

I started my daughters at ages 5 & 7, and they've been riding since. Even started racing.

I can't be happier than when they blow past me in the woods. Nothing better than that.

motorcycling

Good story, Rc, esp. the conclusion ... unless that will happen when the SO finds out !
Motorcycling is the best of meditation – and even with the cost of fuel, cheaper than therapy.

It's how you spin it. For my daughters and me, a weekend of riding meant my spousal unit had a weekend to herself. She had time to be away from us, and I was able to bond with the kids during the camping/riding weekends.

When the girls turn 16, it's no big deal for them to drive 'cause they already have mad vehicle handling skills.

And yes, it's good therapy!
