I'm tall enough to straddle both the S and the /7. I sort of paddle them in and out of the barn that way. I can't do both of them at once though, haven't tried it, yet.

Like Jeff, I normally use both hands on the bars and have the bike leaned against my hip.
That's the way I do it as well. You still have the front brake to use if you have both hands on the bars. I walk/mount my bike from the left only, just like a horse. Yeah, I know, what am I doing mounting a horse, isn't that illegal in some states?

The horse might not like it much either.
Yeah, The Law would not be my first worry there.

Left hand on the left grip, right hand on the frame (or lifting handle).
Bike leaned slightly towards my body –
and go until you have expended the available energy to propel the damn thing.
At which point – be able to deploy the sidestand !
