Hi Rob, its strange how the reverse happened to me , and yet ive had no issues with the O.E caps shorting out in the rain with this bike. Than again if it looks like rain the bike stays in bed !

Must be yet one more of those hemisphere differential things.

I use the leaf blower, in reverse!

Leaf blower first, yep blow it straight out the door and over the neighbors fence into their carport, then a vacuum for the more delicate items like the cats beds..
