Wait...other than Birmingham Small Arms, could BSA stand for something else?

You are ignoring the bigger picture...Porge wrote:Wait...other than Birmingham Small Arms, could BSA stand for something else?
In the USA, the teacher might give you a gold star for doing excellent work.

I found the same screws at my local fastener store. Those screws will look even better if you buff the tops with chromium oxide compound (green) using a conventional muslin wheel.melville wrote:. . . I was able to find some stainless inhex flattop screws at my local hardware store and I'm quite happy with them, although if I were to find some convex topped screws they'd look so much cooler.
And we've all learned to use a good anti-seize compound on stainless steel threads. Plain carbon steel screws are tough enough to loosen, as melville knows.

Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

I know a guy who will be trying to help a soon-to-be widow sell her husband's Rocket 3. A 1969, not the current monstrosity. If it were a Trident I'd be interested (because yeah I need to go faster, right) but I never liked the looks of the BSAs as well. Superficial I guess. If they can't find anybody local I might volunteer to get it running for them. Sigh. Timing the twin points on my Bonneville is bad enough. His bike has 3, one per cylinder.
