I found the same screws at my local fastener store. Those screws will look even better if you buff the tops with chromium oxide compound (green) using a conventional muslin wheel. :D

And we've all learned to use a good anti-seize compound on stainless steel threads. Plain carbon steel screws are tough enough to loosen, as melville knows.

I know a guy who will be trying to help a soon-to-be widow sell her husband's Rocket 3. A 1969, not the current monstrosity. If it were a Trident I'd be interested (because yeah I need to go faster, right) but I never liked the looks of the BSAs as well. Superficial I guess. If they can't find anybody local I might volunteer to get it running for them. Sigh. Timing the twin points on my Bonneville is bad enough. His bike has 3, one per cylinder.
