Ray in sunny Beechworth here. Couldn't log on under the old name so here I am as hzbloke.

Pleased to hear you had a beaut weekend and the weather was very kind to you. I hope to make it next time - Captains Flat Hotel eh! Sound good to me.

Cheers
G'day Ray
Good to see you back here. The important thing about organising a weekend ride at this time of the year is to avoid the Yamaha SR500 rally weekend (this coming weekend at Bethanga) since it always rains. Importantly, it doesn't seem to bother them too much.

I had a SR500. It was a decent machine with heavy wheels. And yes, real motorcycles have kick starters.

Sibbo, have you considered the possibility that you may be a Rain God? You can tell a motorcyclist is a Rain God if he is always grumpy ... and wet ... and nobody wants to ride with him.

I'll have you know I'm a very selective Rain God, more Sprinkle God with all that implies :D .Grumpy ...tick .Slow ...tick .Wet ......more damp from sweat the last few rides .

I've been riding with Eric on his choice of shiny new Ducatis . :D but yep ,I usually ride alone ... da sprinkle god , minor diety sub specie huey .
dampus soloiccus sp huey .
