I agree with Frog on this one. If you have to ship the heads out, then it doesn't matter if it is the next state, or across the country.

I had a good experience w/ Bud Provin, Nickwackett Garage. One man shop, afaik, so do inquire if turn around time is a factor.

That is my understanding as well. As I understand it, The pressure of the head on the guide (where it is inserted through the head) makes a tiny change in the ID of that part of the guide. Thus, the only way to have perfectly parallel guides is to ream them after they have been inserted.
