I agree with Frog on this one. Prices depend on what is needed, but his prices are reasonable. If you shop around, you may want to inquire about turn around time.
That is my understanding as well. As I understand it, The pressure of the head on the guide (where it is inserted through the head) makes a tiny change in the ID of that part of the guide.
