Flooding at Talbingo might see us not needing a fire.
We might need to service the wheel bearings when we get home though!

Don't know if my Aldi tent will handle that degree of moisture, I'll just keep the zip shut tight

The campsite IS on a river flat.

If it's flooded, do we have a local plan B? The wood supplier might know of something?
That or the Talbingo Caravan Park...in a cabin.
It is likely that the #1 route me and Grant were proposing will be flooded...ie, King Valley. It's also likely that East Gippsland, our #2 alternative will have issues with high water by the middle of the week.
Shite, even the Hume Dullway is covered with water in a couple of spots tonight.
Maybe we could camp at/in the Holbrook Submarine?

Charlie and Hans were heading to a hut on the Barry Way, about 30k south of Jindabyne.
He was also hoping to hit the coast around Bermaguii way, where he went first I'm not sure. He'll be ok.
If we don't get much rain this week the camp at Talbingo should be ok.
I'll call the servo operator at Talbingo and ask for his opinion.
The campsite isn't on the Tumut river. It's on the Jounama creek.
