I installed a rear tire rated 65V and the manual calls for a 65H. This is on a 92 R100RT. Is there a problem?

Means you can go faster. Problem is, the 1992 RT won't get there. Loosely speaking, H rating is ok, V rating allows faster.

H rating 130 mph, V rating 150 mph. So you are covered For any speed you can attain! :D

One possible negative is that sometimes a V rated tire will have less tread depth than a lower speed rated tire of the same type. The reason is to minimise heat build up caused by the tread blocks flexing. I've seen it with a Metzler but I got the tire cheap so I wasn't fussed.
