Hi guys,
Anyone interested in a spring run/get together?
I was talking to Jim (R1150RT) at the Alpine and he suggested that it might be a good idea to combine a w/end ride with a day of vintage flight (ala Temora Aviation Museum)...
Well... that definately pressed two of my hot buttons - airhead motorcycles AND airhead aeroplanes!! And it could be a good gathering for both youse northerners and us in more temporate climes... Could combine it with a camp out or pitch in for a (cheap) pub room?

That looks like an interesting destination Pete.

Jeff has been talking about a get together for the 30th birthdays of 3-4 of the RS's we all own. Maybe that's a possibility?

Do you know any other R100RS owners?

I'm keen for a ride other than 10-11 september. On that weekend I'm going for a ride. North.
You might have to leave the GS at home Pete, and ride your younger RS to the RS's 30th Birthday!
Have to get a crowbar and lever Ken off his new GS and back on the RS.

I've been fartin' around with the RS getting it (sorta) sorted for club reg - which i hope to secure soon (possibly this week).
Then all systems will be GO for a 30th birthday bash - whenever/wherever.
Yeah, you're right Steve this thread is in a funny hollow. I'll post a direction msg on our local email list so the other lads can put in their thoughts.
A w/end of old planes and (not-so) old motorbikes... hmmm, think about it!

Nope, Steve I don't know any more RS connoisseurs... if i see any around I'll ask what they're up to.

Sound like fun Pete. I'm too far away (WA) but I visited Temora last May and it was well worth it. No aircraft were flying, so I will have to find some other way to see/hear a Spit engine.
