Way cool photos Steve, way cool touring country.
Amazing that not long before, all the border crossings would have been decorated with German soldiers.
I couldn't help but notice a similarity. (not that we're gentlemen or anything)

A great adventure! I'm especially impressed with the clarity and depth of field in some of the more spectacularly scenic mountain shots. I doubt that they were packing very much in the way of camera equipment, yet such great black and whites.
