Isn't that brilliant! a monosoupape engine according to wiki,
the article I read reckons lubrication of that type of motor was total loss,
would have to be I guess or else it would drown the cylinders,
so why doesn't it end up sprayed all over the wheel and rider?
Does anyone know about these things anymore?

Would an engine like that run as a flat 5 with say a bevel drive to a gearbox ? It could have been a great vibration free layout .

In either case, I would wonder about the gyroscopic effect making high speed turns... "interesting"!
