Santa dropped some new rear shocks for my winter /5 down the chimney on Friday and not a moment too soon. He wizley chose the 13.4" ones even though my bike is a SWB. They are only slightly longer than the oridinals.

They fit well.

And clear the exhaust.

Huge impovement over the totaly bagged originals. Anything would be.

On Timo's advice I Sanata ordered stiffer springs and damping than recomended, and on the short test ride on a modestly rough raod, I am VERY pleased. More testing and updates to follow.

Glad it worked out, Santa seems to have forgotten about me (no chimneys in Hawaii!)

Don't worry, I'll have them as gruby as the rest of the bike in no time.

Wondering if you could fit the shock cover from the old shock to keep the crud away from yer seals.

It'll take a bit of friggen but I will do it. I'm leaving them open right now while I test the spring rates and pre-load settings.
