73 r75/5 battery height

I looked through several of my manuals but can't find the height of the stock battery. The battery in my bike fit well in width and length but was too high by about 1/2" for the tool box tray to fit.
Let me know what the stock height should be and perhaps were you found the info so I'll have another source. Then I can go shopping for a new battery, hopefully a sealed unit - Rod

Max BMW shows this sealed battery as correct, and the dimensions are 195mm x 85mm x 175mm - 7x7x3" (their conversion, not mine)

Course, I don't suppose you could have just measured your current battery and subtracted the amount necessary to fit....

I thought the short wheelbase /5's used the same 18Ah battery as an R65. The one I've got is 181 W x 167 H x 77 D
That 's a commonly available size in generic AGM and Gel batteries.
