As someone who is at the tablesaw most of my work days, I'm thinking the same thing.

I have successfully removed my right thumb through kick back with a 7" Makiita saw, it was also successfully reattached .... Thank you Mr Microsurgeon .

All free of course , socialism has it's adventages , especially when you are suddenly off work for a few months .

While we're at it I had thumb nail ripped clean out by a disc sander with a bit of the end of the the thumb still attached. Nail grew back but the thumb is a little smaller than it was and is the first to feel the cold on winter rides.
