Speaking of Rocket 3's (the big one), check out this picture of my friend, Inga, posing in her bedroom:

It lives!

Just refitted the cleaned carbs, hooked up some temporary fuel hoses (direct to tap, no crossover untill its all sorted), refitted the tank, half choke, connected a jump start battery, and after a second or two, she burst into life. Settled into a 1400ish Rickover on choke, and after ascertaining nothing was indeed on fire, turned choke off. Idled nice and smooth around 1000rpm.

Great first try. Congratulations, as I know it feels great.

Cheer Duane - you've contributed more to this than you know. And it does feel fine - mighty fine!

I found the same screws at my local fastener store. Those screws will look even better if you buff the tops with chromium oxide compound (green) using a conventional muslin wheel. :D

Yes, yes, they will.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.
