Famous last words. Years back, I had 2 rear flats on the same day one leaving a township and one at highway speed! Annoyed yes. MG mk2 so easy enough to remove the wheel. When I bought my R65LS new, it had a flat before I made it to my mates place to gloat over the shiney new bike. Then a week later, a pointy burnt match stick went thru the centre grove...two in a week. Neither high speed though.
I've read it before that a decent size front mudflap can work to reduce the number of rear flats. No idea how that works in reality, but for the price and effort, I put one on. Any comments re: the front flap theory?
