BMW newbie

Post by Rsine »

A co worker just gave me his basket case 1975 R75/6. I am planning a cafe build and was wondering if the R100 gas tank would be a direct bolt-on. Any ideas?

Might need to match the seat?
edit: Is it the /6 & /7 tanks that match to their specific seats differently? If so, I think both tanks will fit, but the gap at the seat might not work if they're interchanged.
