Vech (Benchmark) has the EZ pull system, I was curious about other systems out there that did not require modification of the existing cable. I was looking at the Moose racing unit, which works without modifying the cable, but the question is what do you do with the extra cable length when you add their device, then making the mounts for it. They are inexpensive enough, about $40.00 compared to the unit Benchmark sells, 3 ratios to fit you grip needs. I have a new cable, and clutch assy, and it's not that bad, think I have had worse on some English bikes I had over the years.

Looks like you could replace the toothed chain wheel and chain with a pulley wheel suitable to run the stock clutch cable around it and be attached with a suitable bracket attached to the transmission. This way a stock cable could be used.
