Post by Bob Distelcamp »

I need to replace the windscreen on my RT. The only thing holding it on is the adjusting screws on either side.
I think I need to replace the gasket, As all the tips are gone. what's next/ HELP.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. If you're asking "is there other hardware holding my shield on?", that answer is "yes, there should be a flat 'clamping plate' in the center of the shield, underneath the center of the gasket, with two threaded posts put through two of the center dashboard rivets. This is what provides the structural attachment of the windshield to the fairing body, in addition to the side pivot attachments.

If you're asking about a source for a replacement windshield, I've been happy with the vented Clearview shield that I've had on my RT for several years.
