What's wrong with "in tact?"

Guilty.
At 70, if one hasn't learned tact by that time, the game is lost.

Wish I knew what tank you guys are talking about. Apparently the item has been removed from the listings. Link no workee.
It's all downhill from here. Except for the uphill bits.

It was a "rare" sport tank. And a very average one, IMO. Although no dents that I remember. I guess they wanted a $h!t-load of money for it, and that offended George.

I am a bit offended by the silly claims of rarity. I really like that tank and have owned dozens of them over the years.
If he wanted a million dollars and somebody paid it happily, then I see no reason to be offended. A happy buyer and seller makes a good deal.
I once listed a NOS Luftmeister fairing bracket on eBay for $.01. Yes, one cent. I hated them for so boldly stealing the Vetter design. I hated to throw out something that somebody might be able to use. To my amazement the final price was $78. The seller was happy and Craig got a kick out of the story.
