Image Looks like a mid 60's Marusho/Lilac.

Sure does.

Boy, those things had substantially more power than a /2. I wonder if they had similar reliability.

The Marusho had more claimed power. They were very unreliable and that is why they went out of business.
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.
