That's what it says on the cover of Cycle World about the new Kawasaki ZX14.

We're aging ZM.
We don't want a bike that throws shit at us faster than our brain can process it.
60 horespower is just fine. I use all of it and it's fun.

I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Not to worry, the ZX14 has ABS, traction control, wheelie control, selectable power. You don't even have to be a good rider. The technology has you covered.dougie wrote:We're aging ZM.

That's fine, but does it have "stupid control"?Zombie Master wrote:Not to worry, the ZX14 has ABS, traction control, wheelie control, selectable power. You don't even have to be a good rider. The technology has you covered.dougie wrote:We're aging ZM.

They are making bikes idiot proof. Ergo there will be more idiots.
The sad thing is there may come a time where I will not be able to enjoy humiliating modern sport bikes with my old Airhead.

How (essentially) true !Zombie Master wrote:They are making bikes idiot proof. Ergo there will be more idiots...
Even as new MCs are nothing about "idiot proof",
perceived market demand determines product.
The latest greatest fastest, top spot on the motorcycle horsepower ladder, will trump all !
... and certainly have more than it's share of idiots standing in line with $$ in hand ...
