Hi Rob. Thanks for the heads up,jumped onto MAX BMW web site and put a dummy order in to see what the freight charges would be for the Plug housing and bunch of other small parts that i need , BUT after seeing the freight cost's i might wait until the O.E relay and other parts arrive and see what the local auto elect can supply to match the pin configuration. Thanks to all that helped out.

Are there any BMW dealers in your area - auto or motorcycle? Even an auto dealer parts dept. could order it in for you, if the price is right.
Hi Rob, Have emailed one of the BMW agents near me but still waiting to hear if the parts are still available. I do usually find it easier and faster but not cheapier (sometimes , depends what i need ) to order from the states which would be nearly here in OZ if i ordered them straightaway.

UPDATE. Contacted another BMW agent near me ( 6HRS away ), as the original agent that i enquired with about the plug socket and other small parts never got back to me that was close to a week ago. So the other agent gets back to me within the same day as i contacted them all of the parts that i was looking for is all x germany , so the project R90 is back on track ! Thanks to all that helped
Just an update , finally received "some of the parts" X germany , the little plug housing for the OE blinker relay was indeed the part that Rob mentioned ( Thanks Rob), so onward i go with the job . At the moment it has a three pin blinker relay so heres hoping that the fourth wire i need is tucked away in there somewhere. Regarding the other parts that i ordered X germany i'll do an update on my rear subframe post.

If originality is needed then I would go with the OEM flasher relay (which mates the socket). The OEM blinker has caused me fits a couple times (on a couple airheads). If you pop the cover and look inside you will see what looks like a transistor radio. The OEM flasher relay has some 'features' not available on auto 3 prong flashers, such as a bulb out special flashing signal (IIRC). And rewiring for a 3 prong flasher will be a bit of a pain. I'm just talking about this because a three prong flasher is a viable option if push comes to shove.

Hi Ken ,have purchased a O.E blinker relay and the socket to suit. Like the idea of the IIRC side of it as youve mentioned . Have already a three pin relay in place when i purchased the bike but have always wanted to go back to O.E relay but never had the time or the energy to do all of the jobs i wanted to.
