I worked at an HD dealership in the late 70s and was shocked how easy it was to ride a full dressed FL?? into the showroom down the isle and into it's slot with my feet up. They must be designed to go slow. :?

They have no choice. They are slow, and poor value. They also require the most special tools to maintain.

I can't understand why anyone would buy one. I'm always very glad to see the police using them. 8-)

Suitability for "Parade Duty" is actually an important consideration in Harley design - probably more important than any other manufacturer.

What amazed me is not just how good that guy was, but how fast he was going.
